The Suffern Farmers' Market
The Suffern Farmers' Market takes place Saturdays from June to the Saturday before
Thanksgiving from 9AM to 1PM. The market is currently held, rain
or shine, in Parking Lot "A" at
Orange and Lafayette Avenues in downtown Suffern.
Visit the market to enjoy crisp, freshly picked greens
and other vegetables; flavorful, all-natural meats;
fresh mozzarella; home-made jams; ripe fruits; baked
goods; cheery bouquets and so much more! Vendors
offer vibrant local eggs; tomatoes that taste like tomatoes;
apples, plums, peaches with character and flavor.
Customers can pick up a bottle of locally produced
wine, a freshly-made quiche, a healthy loaf of bread,
and dinner is all there! Shop through the fall months for your holiday gifts and tasty ingredients for the table.
Vendors also offer many items perfect for gift-giving!
Attendance and products change throughout the season,
so shop every Saturday to see what's new. The market
also offers entertainment,
nutrition education, local community information
and other special events.
The Market is a community effort, sponsored by the Suffern Civic
Association, supported by the Village and funded in part
by donations from local businesses and residents.
Come to the Suffern Farmers' Market and meet the
folks who feed you!
Enjoy shopping and eating well
and spending time with your neighbors and friends!
